There are many reasons why door handles of levers droop. The most common reason is that the fixings aren't tight and the lever bearing to pull up against the door. It could also be due to the fact that the levers are not being operated at a straight angle and this is causing the latch mechanism preventing it from fully springing back into action.
Another reason is that the sprung lever isn't working properly. This is typically due to the sprung not being in the right position within the backplate. The easiest way to test this is to move the handle to see whether it returns to the horizontal position.
